Without Honest Hounds, my dog wouldn’t be here. Plain and simple.

We truly thank our lucky stars we found them when we did. Living with a difficult dog is hard enough. Add in bad advice, conflicting “quick fixes” and contradictions, and it’s easy to end up in a very dark place - mentally, emotionally, and in everyday life.

Honest Hounds was the turning point. The community support, the education, and their grounded, welfare led approach helped us rebuild from the ground up. The resources are genuinely brilliant, but more than that, you never feel alone. You can ask questions without judgement and be supported by people who truly get it.

I tell everyone about Honest Hounds because this is the kind of change you want to shout about - real, meaningful, life-changing support.

Honest Hounds have changed our lives

Since being part of the amazing Honest Hounds community our lives with our dog are totally different. When we joined earlier this year we were in a pretty bad place with our dog’s reactivity. We’d tried several different in person trainers, online trainers and courses and nothing was working - things were getting worse and worse.

Joining Honest hounds was the best thing we ever did for our dog and for ourselves. Things improved quickly - we had some zoom calls with an Honest Hounds affiliate trainer who helped us make some immediate changes - then we did in-person workshops, a residential in and a board and train which were totally transformational - for my dog, for me and for my family.

The honest hounds approach is science based, compassionate and holistic. The team understand dogs and us as owners so deeply and are amazing at supporting us to be the best owners we can be to make sure our dogs thrive and that we enjoy our lives with them.

I love being part of the honest hounds community- my only regret is that I didn’t join sooner!

So much more than just dog training

So grateful to have found honest hounds. I started with their neutral walks and have never looked back. Being in a community of dog owners and professionals who 'get it' has been the most amazing thing and I couldn't recommend it enough. The resources and courses are fantastic as are teaching me so much about dog body language and behaviour that I can apply to my own pup.

The sheer amount of expertise, research, discussion and innovation in their training approach makes it far, far more than a simple dog training course, it’s a family. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
