Angus Goes To Argyll

Lauren & Angus have been members of Honest Hounds for 2 years now and their growth and journey has been amazing to see. In August Lauren shared this post on the community about their recent holiday to Argyll.

We had an absolutely gorgeous wee holiday with family in Argyll over the weekend. I couldn’t be more pleased with how well Angus handled it, not only did he not put a paw wrong (pretty much…), I think he even enjoyed himself 🥳

Settling in new places with people outside our household doesn’t come naturally to him, and holidays in the past meant never leaving him alone, even in the car, or he would have an absolute meltdown. He settled beautifully in the car, on his own in the accommodation in his soft crate, tethered outside on the deck, and on his bed in the living room with the other humans and dog 🥰

We took him to a National Trust garden and explored a castle, plus long walks and swimming. Nowhere we took him was busy, which made everything a bit easier, but we were able to do everything we would have done had he not been with us, which feels like such a huge win for us 💪
