Philippa & Harry Share Their 1-Year Honest Hounds Anniversary Win.
It’s officially a year since I joined Honest Hounds, and looking back, I can hardly believe how far Harry and I have come. When we first started, Harry was very dog-reactive
Erno Keeps His Cool Amidst The Dog Park Chaos
Katie joined the Honest Hounds Community to help Erno overcome his over reactivity towards other dogs. Since joining they worked with our neutral walk leaders to help build his resilience and confidence around other dogs and this recent win show’s just how much the hard work is paying off.
Albie Teaches The New Hire About Dog Life.
Albie is a Boston Terrier who has struggled to know how to interact with other dogs in the past. Amelia has worked really hard since joining Honest Hounds to help him overcome this (while also helping other dogs an owners by leading Neutral Walk in Hertfordshire). That hard work is paying off and she shared just how much difference it’s made to Albie in the post below.
Anna & Beau Handle The Fireworks Like a Pro.
Anna & Beau joined Honest Hounds nearly a year ago after working through our Partnership Project (which is free for all members). They’ve seen huge growth and strengthening in their relationship, which has allowed them both to feel less stressed and enjoy their time together. Anna shared a big win about Fireworks, which we thought was great at this time of year!
Havok’s Holiday Behaviour Shift
Natasha has seen great steps with Havok and then after a recent set back reached out to the community for some guidance. After some investigation she discovered while Havok was away he’d been allowed to do as he pleased and so she was able to shift back into normal patterns and saw the positive changes straight away.
Hannah & Max Make Friends In Aberdeenshire
This week Hannah showed us how important it is to be a part of a supportive community. She originally posted a few weeks back asking about meeting up with members in Scotland when she travelled up from Manchester. She was able to meet multiple people and have a much better trip than her previous holiday in Scotland. We love to hear stories like this as it was the reason Honest Hounds came to existence.
Senna’s Strides Towards No Sound Sensitivity
Arjette joined us from Amsterdam with her dog Senna. Already working as a dog trainer, she joined to help learn more and advance her own knowledge. We’ve seen both Arjette and Senna take huge strides since becoming part of Honest Hounds, and this recent win for both of them exemplifies that.
Odin Plays the Perfect Host
Saffron shared an amazing win about how well her house guest, Dexter, settled with her 5 established pets. This is truly special because Odin normally struggles in these situations, so being able to play the perfect host for Dexter shows how much all their work together has paid off.
Bear’s Body Language Breakthroughs
One of the key things we focus on within the Honest Hounds community is that both you and your dog need to build a partnership so you can work together to overcome and bulletproof any issues. Tiegan shared a great example of her allowing Bear to make choices because she is more confident in reading his body language. A true example of partnership.
Muzzle’s Make Life Better
Dougie and his human Alison joined Honest Hounds in August 2025 and got straight to working on getting Dougie out for neutral walks and muzzle training.
Last week Alison shared this win on our community and we love to see hard work paying off.
3 years of struggle and in just 2 months they’re starting to see positive change.
Angus Goes To Argyll
Lauren & Angus have been members of Honest Hounds for 2 years now and their growth and journey has been amazing to see. In August Lauren shared this post on the community about their recent holiday to Argyll.
Coco Crushes it at The Cricket
Nichola joined Honest Hounds in December 2024 to get help with her 6 and 1/2 year old working Cocker Spaniel, Coco’s reactivity and resource guarding behaviours. The pair joined us on a Reactivity Retreat in Berkshire in June 2025 and in August took their first trip away since joining Honest Hounds.
Hollie’s Honest Hounds Glow Up
We love this win because it has come from just getting stuck into the resources on the Education Tier, showing that online learning can make a huge difference when you get the right resources! This team are a real example of how much you can change for the better when you find the right things for you and your dog, and we love seeing their updates! Give them a follow @mgncollies and come and check out the Education tier for yourself!
Mimi & Cooper get a win with Winnie!
After joining our Science of Partnership course, this team have had win after win and we loved seeing how they were able to take their own skills and knowledge and apply it to a house guest - something that was very stressful before they found Honest Hounds!
Online Resources Providing Off-Leash Joy
This story is such a lovely reminder that when you stick with it and make the most of the online resources, real-life change and connection really do follow. That feeling when you are all finally able to genuinely enjoy walks 🫶🐾
Using Honest Hounds to Overcome a Challenge
It’s amazing to see the support and resources from the online community truly paying off for our members. This update is such a great example of what’s possible when you lean in, do the work, and know you’re not doing it alone.
Milo’s Big Win
Julia and Milo joined us on a Retreat and have been working hard ever since. From building confidence to making real changes day-to-day, their progress has been a joy to see. We love hearing reflections like this, it’s what the community is all about.
Sara’s 1 Year on Honest Hounds Anniversary Post
It’s always special when we get to share a one-year recap from one of our long-standing members. So many join Honest Hounds as owners looking for support, and end up staying as friends, mentors, and a valued part of the community. We love seeing those who’ve been with us a while sharing their progress, insights, and encouragement with the next wave of members.
