1:1 Behaviour Deep Dive with Jessie - Dover

A unique opportunity to take a deeper look at your dog with our founder, Jessie Montague.

In the lead-up to the session, you’ll join Jessie for a 30-minute pre-session Zoom. This gives us time to understand your background, map out your goals, and identify the key areas you would like support with in the session. You will also leave this call with a few simple changes to begin implementing straight away, helping you arrive at the session ready to make the most of your time.

Your 90 minute in-person session then gives us the opportunity to work together with you and your dog. We look at the full picture, considering areas such as diet, body mechanics, social status, dog to dog dynamics, your current training tools, and the partnership between you and your dog. The focus is on understanding what is influencing behaviour and helping you build practical skills that support progress.

You will have the chance to practise new approaches, try out different skills, and receive coaching and feedback in the moment. Where appropriate, we will use our dogs to help create safe opportunities for learning and confidence building. We’ll cater to your learning style and type of support as much as possible to set you up for success.

After the session, we will send you a selection of Honest Hounds resources and next steps tailored to your situation so you can continue building on the progress you have made.

What’s Included:

  • 30-minute pre-session Zoom call

  • 90-minute in-person behaviour assessment

  • Opportunity to practise skills and receive real-time coaching

  • Practical opportunities to work around our dogs

  • A simple write-up with next steps and resources from the Honest Hounds community for you to take home

This session is designed to support both you and your dog, helping you move forward with a clear, practical plan that feels achievable.

Who This Is For?

This session may be a good fit if you:

• Feel stuck or unsure about what is really driving your dog’s behaviour
 • Have tried different training approaches but want a clearer direction
 • Want support understanding the bigger picture, not just individual training exercises
 • Would benefit from hands-on coaching with your dog in a supported environment
 • Are ready to look at the partnership between you and your dog and make practical changes

Because these sessions involve close coaching and work around other dogs, they are best suited to owners who are open to trying new approaches and practising skills during the session.

All of our events are available to Honest Hounds members. If you'd like to join us, you can get started for just £1 for your first month and gain access to our events, resources, and community support. Just use the code TRYME here.

Walk & Talk - Didcot

New to Honest Hounds? Been debating joining a Neutral Walk but lacking the confidence to take the next step? Or just want to make the most of getting some in-person advice from the team? We’re bringing you the perfect chance to come and meet Jess & Jessie so we can get to know you and your dog, give you some simple steps to continue on your journey and get to know the Honest Hounds community and what we’re all about.

We’d love you to join us for a relaxed walk where we will come without our dogs so we can put the focus on you, support with things like loose lead walking, dog-dog interactions, spotting body language and helping support your own confidence and handling so you can leave feeling set up for success for future walks and excited about carrying on your journey.

These sessions are open to all Honest Hounds members. All dogs attending must be comfortable wearing a muzzle during the walk if they have shown signs of reactivity. [Find our full Neutral Walk guidelines here]. You can find our free Muzzle Training Guide here.

All of our events are available to Honest Hounds members. If you'd like to join us, you can get started for just £1 for your first month and gain access to our events, resources, and community support. Just use the code TRYME here.

1:1 Behaviour Deep Dive with Jess P & Jessie - Didcot

A unique opportunity to take a deeper look at your dog with our Head Behaviourist, Jessica Probst, and founder, Jessie Montague.

Reactivity Retreat, 5th - 7th June 2026, Oxfordshire

Details

Having a challenging dog can be SO overwhelming. The emotional load is heavy, your days take more planning than most people realise, and it is easy to feel stuck, even when you are doing everything you can. Our Reactivity Retreat is designed to give you and your dog the time, space, and guidance to make real progress in a supportive, structured environment.

This is a three-day immersive experience led by our team of trainers and behaviourists who work with complex behaviour every day. You will learn how to truly understand your dog, build skills you can use in real life and help rebuild your partnership together. You will also have the chance to practise those skills throughout the weekend with expert support beside you.

If your dog struggles with human reactivity, dog reactivity, anxiety or just lacks confidence, this retreat has been created with you in mind.

For this Retreat, you will need to find your own accommodation but during the days your dog will need to settle in a crate at the venue or in your car during their downtime.

All of our events are available to Honest Hounds members. If you'd like to join us, you can get started for just £1 for your first month and gain access to our events, resources, and community support. Just use the code TRYME here.
